Chess Classic is a timeless and strategic two-player game played on a 64-square board. Select your pieces and checkmate the opponent's king.
In the game of chess, two teams are positioned on opposing sides of the chessboard. Each team possesses a total of 16 pieces. The distinguishing factor between the two sets of pieces is their color, with one team having black pieces and the other having white pieces. At the beginning of the game, you can select either the black or white color to commence your gameplay.
Every chess piece possesses its own distinct way of movement. The King and Queen have the freedom to move in any direction. Vehicles, represented by rooks, can move horizontally and vertically. Bishops traverse the board by moving diagonally. Knights have an L-shaped movement pattern, while pawns can jump forward one square diagonally. Pawns also have the special ability to advance two squares forward on their first move. When your piece occupies your opponent's square, their piece can be captured and taken off the board, depending on the specific piece you move.
Checkmate by attacking the opponent's king through many of your pieces. Put your pieces in a position where their king can't do anything else. You can adapt your move strategy based on your opponent's actions, strategically deploying your pieces to attack their squares and eliminate their pieces from the board.
There are two types of player modes for you to choose from: play with friends or play with AI. Invite your friends when playing player mode. And play alone against AI. Each player has a different playing strategy. Use all your abilities and intelligence to always win. Or practice to increase your playing level.
You can change the color of the board as well as the appearance of the pieces before starting to play. Many options for you to choose from, you can change and test them before starting to play.
